In 2014, we introduced a new holiday for obstacle course racers: Rucksgiving. The premise was simple–Rucksgiving was the Obstacle Course Racing community’s chance to give back to their local neighborhood by participating in a group run/workout that benefits those in need. Essentially, it is a FREE group workout during which teams of athletes trekked through their neighborhood passing out holiday leftovers to those in need along their route, or volunteered their time at a local shelter.

Since then, Rucksgiving has spread like wildfire with thousands of athletes and dozens of chapters across North America taking part in the annual tradition.
